Selection into the Asante Children’s Choir is a huge privilege for each child. When a child is selected to be a member of the choir, they are placed in an Asante children’s home in East Africa where they receive modern living accommodations, three hot meals each day and loving care from aunties and uncles who parent and disciple them on a daily basis.  The children are in school and music rehearsals for six months before they tour. After their tour is complete, they return to their Asante home where they continue to receive love and support from their Asante aunties and uncles who live with them. Asante is committed to the education of each child and will ensure that each child in the choir is placed in a school where they are given the best opportunity to make their dreams come to fruition.

The complete sponsorship of a child in the Asante Choir is shared between 4 sponsors at $50 each per month.  This sponsorship begins during their pre-tour training and continues until they are finished with their high school education.  After that each sponsor will be given the opportunity to contribute to their child’s college or university education.

If you sponsor a child in the Asante Choir, you may have an opportunity to meet them during their tour in North America. An Asante sponsorship coordinator will contact you to let you know that they have arrived. If you sponsor a choir child who has already toured and is now back in school in East Africa you may visit them by joining one of our mission trips to East Africa.
