Currently Asante runs six children’s homes in Rwanda, Burundi and Uganda.  Asante homes are made up of 5 to 24 children raised and nurtured by caring guardians. The guardians act as authority figures in the children’s lives until the children are able to provide for themselves as adults. The homes provide a sense of family to the children, a place they can always call home.

Each child in the Asante home is sponsored through the Asante Sponsorship program which makes it possible for the child to receive free education, medical care and all the necessities that children need in their everyday lives.
